RONALD SCHLEICHER, JR.
Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Coach and Friend...
..These are just a few of the titles he carried. On July 24, 2008, Roni, at the age of 38, suffered a fatal car accident changing three lives instantly, his wife Barbara of nearly 15 years, his daughter Sydney Rae 13 and his Son Jacob Riley 11.
Roni was a devoted family man and took great pride in everything he did. In the summer he donated his time to coach his son Jacob’s baseball team, in the fall it was football, and in the winter it was wrestling. He was also a devoted worker, working for his fathers HVAC business, Jones Environmental Control, Inc., as a union bricklayer. And if he wasn’t donating his time or working he enjoyed just hanging out with his family either watching football, NASCAR, or playing a competitive game of “bags”.
Over the years Roni and Barb faced the same challenges many other families have, providing everything they possibly could for their kids, putting away for the kids’ college education and raising their children as well-rounded, respectful, and caring individuals. Roni can’t be here to help his family fulfill their hopes and dreams. It is now up to Barb to finish the job alone as she mourns her true love and comforts her children in their immeasurable loss.
Family and friends have come together to host a fundraising benefit for the Schleicher Children.
